Funded by the South West of England Regional
Development Agency - Skills Development Fund.
Aim:
To
stimulate demand for learning amongst employees who have not undertaken work
related training in the last two years.
To subsidise customer defined
short courses or structured training through 9 different delivery partners
across the county.
To enable employees to improve their skills in order
to enhance career prospects and improve their company's capability - so
improving the "bottom line".
The Project is targeted towards
employees of Somerset based SMEs in the Advanced Engineering and Leisure and
Tourism sectors together with their supply chains; ie Manufacturing and Food
and Drink.
