If you currently hold a club premises certificate and would like to amend any of the details on the certificate then you must submit an application to do so.
You can make the following changes to a club premises certificate by making this application:
You can apply to vary a club premises certificate licence online via Gov.uk. Alternatively you can download the application form to vary a club premises certificate and, once completed, return it to us with the appropriate fee and a 1:100 scale plan of the premises. You must send copies of the application to the responsible authorities. You must display a public notice on the premises and in a local newspaper, advising interested parties that an application has been made and that they can view a copy of the application at the Council offices. The application fee is based on the non-domestic rateable value of the premises. These are:
Once we receive your application we begin a 28 day consultation period before we make a decision. If an interested party wishes to object to the application, the objection must relate to one or more of the four licensing objectives. These are:
If we receive valid representations and cannot reach an agreement with you then your application will be heard by the Licensing Sub-Committee. The hearing must take place within 20 working days of the end of the consultation period.
Please allow at least two month for your application to be processed.
Club premises certificates are granted under the Licensing Act 2003.
