Pay Online

To make an online payment using a debit card visit www.tauntondeane.gov.uk/pay

You will need your Council Tax account number (you can find this at the top of your bill).

You cannot pay your Council Tax using an Electron card or a credit card.

Other ways to pay your Council Tax

Direct Debit

Paying by Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay your bill on time.  You can choose to pay on the 1st or the 20th of each month.

To set up a Direct Debit:

Internet banking

Use your internet banking service to set up a regular payment to us.  Quote the account number shown on your bill.  Our bank details are:

If you have a debit card, use our 24/7 automated telephone payment service on 01823 356598.

PayPoint

You can pay your Council Tax at a PayPoint outlet using the bar code on the front of your bill.  Go to www.allpay.net/outlets to find your nearest outlet.

AllPay App on your mobile device

The Allpay app allows you to pay your bills from your Apple, Windows or Android smartphone. www.tauntondeane.gov.uk/allpay for more details.

Post Office

You can pay your Council Tax at any Post Office free of charge using the barcode on the front of your bill. Always keep your receipt as proof of payment.

If you pay by cheque at a Post Office, please pay at least five days before the due date so it will get to your account on time.
