If you run a premises that is licensed to sell alcohol, you can apply for a licensed premises gaming machine permit allowing you to have a number of Category C or D gaming machines on your premises.
You can apply for a licensed premises gaming machine permit if you are a the holder of a premises licence that allows the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises.
An application cannot be made by any premises that is subject to a premises licence under the Gambling Act 2005.
You can download the licensed premises gaming machine permit application form and, once completed, send the form to the us with the fee of £150.00.
The fee for an application for a licensed premises gaming machine permit is £150.
There is also an annual fee of £50, due annually on the date the permit was granted.
Once we receive your application we will make a decision based on the guidance issued by The Gambling Commission.
You should allow one month for your application to be processed.
The Gambling Act 2005 required the Council, by the 31st of January 2007, to prepare and publish a "Statement of Principles" that sets out the policies that the Council will generally apply to promote the Licensing Objectives when making decisions on applications made under the Act.
Licensed Premises Gaming Machine Permits are issued under the Gambling Act 2005 and the Gambling Act 2005 (Licensed Premises Gaming Permits)(England and Wales) Regulations 2007.
