Galmington Park

Ideal if you live in Galmington and Comeytrowe. There are two play areas, three football pitches and a changing pavilion with a small car park. The park is on an elevated site and there is a great view of the hills around Taunton.

Priorswood Park

Laid out as a playing field, Priorswood Park has three football pitches, a changing pavilion and a children's play area. It can be found alongside Priorswood Road and is bordered by the residential areas of Priorswood and Nerrol's Farm.

Hamilton Gault Park

This park is well known for its spectacular avenue of Horse Chestnut trees. Hamilton Gault Park has three football pitches, a changing pavilion, two children's play areas and a skate park.

Lyngford Park

The park provides a green area in the midst of a residential area and it has a stream along one side. It caters well for children with two play areas and the Surestart Centre for families with children under five. There is a basketball hoop, skate park, youth shelter and a football area with goals where casual games are often organised.

Taunton Green

Situated near Cheddon Road, the site has three tennis courts, a multi use games area, three football pitches, a changing pavilion, a car park and two children's play areas.

Greenway Recreation Ground

An open space in the midst of Victorian terraced housing, this park is much loved by the local community. It has two play areas, with plans to provide more for young people.
