Why am I only getting an Interim Payment?

We have referred your claim to the Rent Service so they can tell us the maximum Housing Benefit we can pay. In the meantime, we have awarded you Housing Benefit based on an interim rent level, so you get some money from us while we wait for their decision. When we the decision from the Rent Service, we aim to reassess your clam within 2 working days.
