Access For The Disabled

All Taunton Deane Building Control officers are able to discuss matters relating to access for the disabled. Specific advise is based on Approved Document M of the Building Regulations 2000, which covers all new buildings.

Existing properties will also be affected through other legislation, including the Disability Discrimination Act, which has been in effect from 2004.
