We have a statutory duty to enforce licensing throughout Taunton Deane. The Licensing Unit is responsible for advising on and issuing licences for a variety of situations covering the following areas:

The Licensing Unit also deals with all complaints regarding licensing (for example, complaints about unlicensed taxi drivers) and carries out enforcement work to check compliance with the licence conditions.
