No, there could be fines, please see the fines section, but revoking a licence is not being considered under the new legislation.
Your licence could still be reviewed due to other issues though.
2. Will I need a variation on my licence if I have a smoking shelter?
Yes, smoking shelters are considered to be a structural alteration to the premises.
3. Will I need planning permission for a smoking shelter?
Probably. The majority of smoking shelters will need planning permission.

4. Can I smoke in my taxi?
No. Under legislation taxis are considered places of work, and as such are covered by the legislation.
Under the Government's smokefree regulations, all vehicles used for public transport will be required to be smokefree at all times.
