Heritage and Landscape
The role of the Heritage and Landscape Team within the Council is to encourage the conservation and enhancement of the Borough's historic and natural environment by:
- providing specialist advice to the Council's Planning Units, developers and land owners, and increasing awareness generally and
- promoting schemes for the improvement of the urban and rural environment, the protection of wildlife and their habitats and the care of historic buildings.
