*Notes:
Where a vibrating roller with only a single roller (nominally rated at 0.4 tonnes)
is used settlement will occur unless layers are restricted to 125mm thickness
and receive at least 16 passes.
*If
soft ground is encountered or other base material is used the base thickness
should be increased by at least one 100mm layer and the Engineer notified.
