Taunton Deane Housing Partnership Allocations Policy
The Allocations Scheme covers the priorities and precedures for allocationg housing to those who apply to the Council. It does not cover assistance given by the Council under its duties to people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
Applications and allocations will be dealt with in accordance with the following consoiderations:
- Eligibility - who can and cannot apply
- Priorities - the groups we wish to help most
- Management of the Scheme - how we decide who gets offered housing
- The Points Scheme - how much weight we give to different circumstances
