Paying your rates

Business Rates are usually payable in monthly instalments, although in certain instances payment will be due within 14 days. Details of the payment(s) required will be shown at the bottom of your bill. If you are experiencing difficulty in making payment by the date(s) shown on your bill, or wish to arrange to make payment annually or half yearly, please contact the Council's Revenues Services by email at revenues@tauntondeane.gov.uk or by telephone on 01823 356433.

Please note: that if you fail to make payment as requested on your bill action to recover the debt may be taken.

Methods of payment

To make it as easy as possible to pay your Rates the Council offers a wide range of payment methods:

Direct debit: Making payment by direct debit will ensure that your payments are always received by the due dates. To pay by direct debit please either complete the instruction on the reverse of your bill or download the PDF Direct Debit Mandate application form (227 KB). Please note: Completed instructions should be returned to the Council and not your bank/building society.
