Household Recycling Centres

Household waste recycling centres are the large sites where all household waste can be brought for disposal/recycling, including:

• Asbestos (Priorswood only)
• Oil
• Garden Waste
• Paper
• Glass
• Cardboard
• Cans
• Plastic bottles
• Textiles
• Refrigerators and freezers
• Metal
• Wood
• Rubble/building waste

Please note that there is a limit of one tonne of waste per DIY project. For amounts exceeding this please contact a skip hire company.

There are two sites within Taunton Deane:

Both sites are open seven days a week (closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day) 8:00am - 8:00pm April to September, 8:00am to 6:00pm October to March.
