WHEN: Please ensure your refuse and recycling is ready for collection by 7 am on your collection day - collection times may vary.

WHERE: Please place your bins and box at the edge of your property nearest the road
where these can easily be seen. Please be considerate and do not obstruct the pavement.

| Household waste which cannot be collected for recycling or composting, for example: |
Food waste and recyclable materials collected from your home by other collection services |
| Plastics & cardboard - please take plastic bottles and cardboard to recycling centres if possible |
Garden waste |
| Vacuum cleaner contents |
Hot ash |
| Cat, dog or other pet litter |
Rubble, earth and stones |
| Nappies and sanitary items |
Hypodermics |

Bulky household items |

Engine oil, paint or other chemicals |

| Excess Refuse Will Not Be Accepted |
|
| If you have a wheeled bin for refuse, the lid must be closed and only refuse inside the bin will be accepted. |
|
| If your household uses sacks for refuse, only up to 4 sacks will be accepted each collection. |
|
| If you occasionally have additional or bulky household waste for disposal, this can be taken to a Household Waste Recycling Centre. All suitable materials should be separated for reuse, recycling and composting. |
|
| If you have a medical condition or a large family, which regularly results in excess refuse, please contact the helpline to request advice and additional refuse capacity. |
